Scottish troops trying to keep the peace in Afghanistan |
 Musa Qala bazaar
This remains a highly charged war zone. Three days ago, while we were in the district centre - the army camp on the outskirts of Musa Qala - three platoons of D Company of the Argylls came back from a 48-hour patrol to the north of the town, in the course of which they came under heavy fire on three separate occasions. "I knew I had been hit but I thought it had ricocheted off."

 US Marine forum
Thought I'd share this with you all. I know it is an old news story but still a good yin.
